Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This is a draft policy, not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney. It has not been reviewed by counsel and should be reviewed before this site handles real customer data at scale. It’s written to accurately describe what this site actually collects and does with it as of the date above.

Who we are

This policy covers https://getghostrank.com, operated by Ghost Rank LLC (“GhostRank,” “we,” “us”). Based in Boston, MA — serving local businesses nationwide.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Contact and audit forms — name, email, phone, business name, website, industry, location, and anything else you type into a form field.
  • The Ghost chat assistant — the content of your conversation, and any name, business, email, phone, website, or business details you share while chatting.
  • Newsletter signup — your email address.

We also collect limited technical information automatically — such as IP address, used briefly to rate-limit chat requests and prevent abuse. We don’t currently run analytics or advertising cookies on this site; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How we use it

We use submitted information to respond to your request, prepare an AI Growth Audit, qualify and follow up on leads, and improve how we communicate with prospective clients. We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking first.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party service providers to run this site and respond to you:

  • Resend — delivers form and chat lead notifications to our inbox.
  • OpenAI — processes your conversation with the Ghost chat assistant in order to generate responses. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.
  • Calendly — if you book a strategy call, that happens on Calendly’s platform under their privacy policy, not this one.

We don’t sell personal information to data brokers or third parties, and we only share it beyond the providers above if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time — see “Your choices” below.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of future communications, by emailing nick@getghostrank.com. Newsletter emails also include an unsubscribe link. Residents of California and other states with similar privacy laws may have additional statutory rights over their personal information — contact us and we’ll respond consistent with applicable law.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for business owners and professionals. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submitted information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
